The Foods class learned how to make cucumber relish from Denise Hill. They made the relish yesterday and processed it today. Thank you to Denise for donating the supplies and taking the time to demonstrate the process to the students.

Falcon Cookbook - Recipes Due Nov. 1st

The upcoming week marks a very busy week in Falcon athletics, with our first home contests of the fall sports season, in addition to Parent's Night for our volleyball, cross-country, and football teams.
Parents of volleyball players and student managers will be recognized Thursday night following the conclusion of the SEM vs. Hi-Line game at our home triangular. Parents: please be prepared for introductions to possibly begin as early as 6:30.
Parents of football players and student managers, as well as parents of cross country runners, will be recognized prior to Friday night's football game. Football parents will be recognized first, followed then by cross country parents. Because of the high number of participants in both football and cross country, we will begin introductions shortly after 6:30 Friday night to ensure that the football players can go through their warm-up routine before starting lineups and the national anthem prior to kickoff.

#FalconFunFact we utilize technology! Over the past week, freshmen geography students learned about Geographic Information Systems. They used a smartphone app to learn about latitude and longitude and find the absolute location of coordinates throughout the school grounds.

Congratulations to the following Falcon cross country runners who placed at Friday night's Fort Kearny Twilight meet.
Cara Bunger--3rd
Grant Henery--4th
Allegra Johnson--5th (junior high)
Great job by all of our runners at a unique meet!
