Let's go, Falcons!

It will be another busy week in Falcon Nation, with plenty of opportunities to support our students in their various activities!

If you are going to the UNK cross country meet tomorrow, here is the link to purchase tickets: https://lopers.com/sports/2021/7/14/hometown-ticket-website.aspx. Other fan information can be found at this website: https://lopers.com/sports/2009/10/27/MXC_1027091041.aspx.

The cross country team has continued to have strong showings over the past week. At the Arapahoe Invite last Thursday, Cara placed 9th in the high school girls division, and Allegra also placed 9th in the JH girls division. On the boys side, Micah placed 5th and Grant 3rd! This past Tuesday at Franklin, Allegra placed 11th, Cara 10th, and Grant 5th. This next week is a big week for the cross country team, as they'll compete at the UNK Invite on Monday, and then FKC meet at Overton on Friday. Get on out and cheer on our runners!!

Game Day tomorrow! Let's go Falcons!

Just a little over one month left to enter a recipe for the Falcon Cookbook. We have 66 recipes so far and I would really like to see around 200 or more. So, please take the time to enter in a family favorite recipe in your name, your child, perhaps a grandchild/grandparent, and etc. It would be great if you could enter two or three recipes per family. Please do not submit any recipes with alcohol. Thank you so very much for helping put together an awesome Falcon cookbook. I appreciate your help :)

Parents, if you need help setting up an account, or resetting your password for PowerSchool, Mrs. Bunger will be in the music room during PTC's today to help assist you in the process.

October 10th is Pink Out for the WH volleyball team! Hope to see everyone there. https://wilcoxhildrethpinkoutvolleyball2024.itemorder.com/

Let's go, Falcons!

Today's junior high football game is being streamed on our HudlFan page. The junior high volleyball game will not be streamed because of technically difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience.

After all of the excitement that comes with Homecoming, this upcoming week will be a little bit quieter, but there will still be plenty of opportunities to catch our students in action and support them in their activities!

"Mr. Glenn can easily identify strengths not only in students, but in his fellow co-workers." #FalconFunFact Jordan was selected as the fourth FORK recipient! See the full details in the News section of the school website.

We are proud to be falcons! #falconfunfact
7-12 Band competed today in the annual UNK parade marching contest. We were one of 6 class D schools and 29 schools total.
Thanks to all our supporters who came out to watch and cheer!

Homecoming was the best week because we have such great kids and staff. Staff members constantly pivoted to make things happen for the kids to have a great week. When packing up last night, the dj said we were doing things right. Several times during the night, we had a students ask him if he needed anything to drink or check in on him. Before the kids left, a senior reminded them to help clean up the tables to make our night easier. Our school has big hearts! #FalconFunFact:

Congratulations to our Homecoming Queen, Reagan Johnson, and King, Karsen Klein!

Not even a crazy homecoming week can stop our Falcons from shining bright and being GREAT! #FalconFunFact

Reminder! The 9th-12th grade Homecoming Dance will take place immediately after the coronation until midnight!

Homecoming Day 4 is in the books! The elementary competed in tug-a-war while the high school competed with a student themed kahoot!
