We had the best day attending the UNK Health Fair! Students were able to learn about the amazing opportunities with KHOP, the expanding medical program at UNK, and different opportunities for careers. Go lopes!

Dad Day was a HOOT! Dads greeting dads in Hildreth this morning was the best part! HoCo day three is in the books.

The Homecoming Parade will begin in front of the school "Activities Entrance" doors at 1:15 Friday afternoon. The pep rally will take place immediately after the parade in front of the bleachers on the east side of the practice field in Wilcox. Please see the posted image for the parade route. If there is inclement weather, there will be no parade, but the pep rally will still take place in the Wilcox middle gym. We hope to see all of you there!

Yesterday the FFA officers helped out with Farm Safety Day at the Kearney County Fairgrounds! We had officers as group leaders as well as teaching lessons on chemical safety! 🧪 Students in grades 4-6 learned how to be safe around chemicals, insects, fire, animals, grain bins, four wheelers and also learned about first aide and other dangers that they could encounter in life! It was a great day for learning and engaging with each session!

Homecoming Day 2 is in the books! We had a lot of activities in our school with elementary students playing ships and sailors and the 6-12 battling for the title of tug-a-war champion!

The 2023/24 yearbooks are in and ready to sell. These were not pre-ordered but will be sold for $45.00 each and are for all grades from preschool to Seniors. They will be available at home games, p/t conferences or contact me. The 2022/23 yearbook will be delivered to the school between Oct. 5th and Oct 11th. These books were pre-ordered and I will personally deliver them to you. Please accept my apologies for how long it to complete the 22/23 yearbook. Thank you for supporting the students in publishing quality yearbooks. It is greatly appreciated.

Let's go, Falcons! Good luck tonight!

Cross Country had a great showing at the Alma Invitational on Monday evening! The boys were team champions with Grant placing 3rd, Micah 6th, and Spencer 13th! On the girls side, Cara placed 5th and Kallie got 14th, while Allegra finished 6th in the JH division. Fantastic job!!

Day one of Homecoming week is in the books! The elementary had a great time playing Simon Says while our 6th-12th grade students played a "How Well Do You Know Your Teachers" Kahoot! There were a lot of princesses and superheroes in our halls today!

The junior high football game with Franklin scheduled for this afternoon is canceled due to Franklin not having enough players available to play. Junior high volleyball will still play at 4:00 in Hildreth.

Homecoming is always one of the busiest (and most exciting) weeks of the school year, and this year is no exception! Further details on the Homecoming parade + pep rally will be released later this week. We hope that you are able to get out and support our students in all of the various activities going on this week!
