Thank you to all who have supported the Alzheimers Association this winter. We are collecting through the end of January so keep the donations coming. Here are the updated totals by class. Remember the winning class will get a PIZZA PARTY! Donations can be brought to elementary classrooms or the donation boxes outside of Miss Martin's classroom for 6-12 or bring them to Miss Martin for safe keeping! This is an organization that could always use support for research, help, and a cure and is near and dear to many of our hearts all year round. Consider donating now!

Falcon Nation, here are the upcoming activities for last week of Semester One! There are multiple updates to the sports schedule for this week: no girls varsity basketball games Tuesday and Thursday, so boys varsity games will begin after boys JV concludes those evenings. Girls wrestling at Cambridge will begin at 9:30 AM, with boys wrestling still beginning at its originally scheduled time of 10:00 AM.

Update on the Clothing/Coat Drive:
We are extending the donation window until January 3rd!
National Honor Society and Youth Leadership are teaming up this month to host a coat/clothing drive for the community! Round up your donations and drop them off at any of the boxes at the locations listed on the flyer.
We will display items in the Wilcox middle gym on Saturday, January 10th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Parent's Night for Cheerleading will be rescheduled to the Friday January 2nd home wrestling triangular; Parent's Night for both boys and girls wrestling will also be that same evening. Next Thursday's home basketball game with Arapahoe will now just be Parent's Night for boys basketball.

If you are attending the Southern Valley Wrestling Invite on Friday, please be aware that Southern Valley schools is under a boil water warning for an E Coli issue from their water supply in Stamford. Only drink bottled water, or water from the Gatorade jugs that will be placed throughout the commons area. Do NOT drink water from any faucet.

Due to not having enough available players, the Falcon girls basketball team will be forfeiting its game at Red Cloud on Tuesday December 16th, and the home game against Arapahoe on Thursday December 18th. These games will not be rescheduled. At this time, these forfeitures do not affect the girls games scheduled for Alma and Shelton this week, nor the girls game against Pleasanton on Saturday December 20th. Boys JV and boys varsity games for these nights are also not affected. Boys JV will now start at 4:30 next Tuesday at Red Cloud, with varsity to follow. That will also be the same starting time for the home game with Arapahoe next Thursday. Next Thursday’s home game with Arapahoe will be Parent’s Night for boys basketball and cheerleading; that will take place between the boys JV and varsity games. Girls Parent’s Night will be rescheduled to Friday January 9th.
