Parents and Students,

We encourage students to advocate for themselves and work with their teachers to get additional help when they need it, but if you are looking for additional resources NEBRASKA SMART is another great and free resource taught by college students going through teaching programs at Chadron, Peru, and Wayne State Colleges. Please read this letter for additional information: https://5il.co/3mt1r

The Spanish classes spent the week working on some team building activities. They worked hard to think outside the box, trying to make the longest chains out of 1 sheet of paper and the tallest towers out of index cards with similarities they have written on them!

Just sending out an informational post about how to join the new Remind for FFA, the FFA BBQ coming up, and FFA Dues.

There is a new Remind for FFA. To join the Remind, the @ that you will need is wh-ne-ffa

The Back-to-School FFA BBQ is coming up Tuesday, August 26th at 6:30. Hamburgers, chips, and drinks will be provided. Seniors and Juniors have been asked to bring a dessert. Sophomores and Freshmen have been asked to bring a side. Thank you in advance to parents/guardians for assisting your student(s).

FFA Dues will need to be turned in before the chapter attends Husker Harvest Days on September 10th. High School FFA Dues are $25 and Junior High FFA Dues are $15. I will also be handing out a code of ethics to the students in FFA. Along with the student's signature, a parent/guardian will need to sign as well.

Thank you and I look forward to kicking off this year of FFA!
